CX Services, we are a successful Dunoon based business providing services including direct mail, order fulfilment and call centre outsourcing, experiencing ever growing demand from customers.
CX Services began life as Database Direct. Following a management buyout by Argyllshire businessman Greg Girard in 2017 the business has grown turnover by more than 40%. In 2019 the business rebranded to CX Services, bringing on partners Andy Hore as Operations Director and John Lamont as Technical Services Director.
Highest growth is being seen in the direct mail service, increasing by around 20% since before the pandemic. With more people working from home, companies have seen printed mail delivered by post really helping to drive orders and online sales. A young fashion brand saw a 10% increase in sales from their mail campaign. Mail is physical, it hangs around the house, with multiple people looking at a catalogue or postcard while it’s sitting there - emails disappears in your private inbox and are instantly forgotten.
A new phase of expansion is planned over the next five years. Significant jobs growth is anticipated in the next two years, boosting the current 20 permanent staff by a further 20 staff in the Argyll & Bute area. CX Services has warehouse teams in Dunoon and Ellesmere Port in Cheshire, which service two large healthcare clients.
One of our latest exciting developments has been the roll-out of new ‘omnichannel’ telephony software, which allows agents to manage customer phone calls, web chat, email and instant messaging from a single platform.
CX Services include data management, digital printing and website development.
